About this project:
Sit Conmito was a project from a design class to help practice wireframing. The imaginary client's goals were to have a unique and stylish website built for a company that creates ethically sourced chairs. For this design, I decided to use a combination of lively fonts that reflected the fun and flirtatious styles of the chair (chair images were provided as part of the exercise). The chair images were originally on simple backgrounds, but to create more consistency amongst the images, I removed the backgrounds using photoshop, and added them to the site with transparent backgrounds. One of the goals of this site was that is was supposed to function a bit more like a landing page than a typical website, so I put two CTAs in the hero area: the center section of the menu that is aligned near the top, and the left most quarter of the hero area. In my vision for the site, the menu was stick to the top as the page scrolls. In addition, I left the text of the page to be very simple to communicate the values of the company: sustainability, fair trade, and protected craftspeople.
