About this project:
A friend of mine has a long term goal to start a company that sells hemp products to relieve common aches and pains, such as menstrual cramps, and I offered to design the logo because I thought it would be a fun project. When they came to me, they knew they wanted to use bright shades of purple and green to be reminiscent of hemp flower colors, and that they wanted a sultry icon. In fact, the exact words they used were "I want it Betty Boop inspired," but after working with them to determine their ideal client market, which is women ages 18-50, I suggested to instead consider an evocative hemp goddess and they loved the idea.
