About this project:
This was a really fun project that focused on the 3D animations feature. I had a lot of fun creating this! As you may have noticed, the video quality on some of the animation videos is not ideal - this is simply due to the software that I am using for screen recording. My biggest complaint is that this can look a bit pixelated, especially in the gradient areas. I've also included a final, still image to show what it looks like. One thing that I really like about this design is how far I deviated from the original prompt and took some risks. The only assets I retained were the copy, the logo, the stars, and the icon that is to the right of the menu. I knew I wanted to make something nebulous, and slightly mildly surreal. For inspiration, I explored some of the "Experimental" photography listed on Unplash, where I found a photo series of hands positioned behind red light. This immediately reminded me of The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo, and so I set to work with these hand images: I removed the backgrounds, and adjusted the colors to be within the palette that I wanted to work with. While this project didn't start with the intent of a philosophical statement, I find profound parallel's between NFTs and The Creation of Adam.
